Don’t wanna be exposed when screenshot other people’s stories? Instagram has officially stop testing the feature of notifying people when someone else screenshot their stories.
Early in February, Instagram claimed to start to test a new feature on some users’ accounts, which would notify the user who took a screenshot of his/her story. “We are always testing ways to improve the experience on Instagram and make it easier to share any moment with the people who matter to you，” the company said at the time it started testing the feature.
This is definitely a bad news for those creepers in the social media, but now, Instagram (told BuzzFeed News) decides to abandon this testing feature in its app and platform.
Actually, Snapchat has already get such a feature that alerting people if their photo or video in their story is taken a screenshot by others, so many people think that Instagram just cribbed this feature from Snapchat. And now, it will be a great news for those Instagram users who don’t want this feature being applied.
